South Devon

Below East Portlemouth village there is a pleasant stretch of sandy beach on the east bank of Salcombe Harbour. At low tide the sand stretches south to Mill Bay. Cafe and toilets are close to the beach. There is a ferry to/from Salcombe. Dogs allowed all year

English Riviera

Elberry Cove is a small pleasant cove with a pebble beach and some sand at low tide. There are no parking and facilities. Park at Broadsands and walk the coast path, takes about 15 minutes. Dogs allowed all year

South Devon
Elender Cove is a picturesque sandy cove surrounded by rocky scenery including the impressive jagged bulk of Gammon Head. Unfortunately there are no facilities or parking and final access to the beach is difficult. There is also a smaller beach called Maceley Cove, where access is easier. Dogs allowed all year

East Devon

Exmouth is a big seaside town at the mouth of the River Exe. The excellent sandy beach at Exmouth stretches west for 2 miles. There are plenty of facilities and parking close to the beach. Dogs restricted in summer
