Mill Bay is a pleasant sheltered sandy beach on the east bank of Salcombe harbour. At low tide the beach stretches north to East Portlemouth beach. Dogs allowed all year

Moor Sand is a small quiet pebble beach with rock pools. No facilities or parking. Park at Prawle Point or Mill Bay and walk the coast path, which takes about 1 hour from Prawle Point but its worth doing for the great scenery. Dogs allowed all year

Mothecombe Beach is a nice sandy beach on the South Devon coast. Parking and facilities are a 10-15 minute walk from the car park. Also within walking distance from the car park is Coastguards Beach. Coastguards Beach is a sandy beach on the west shore of the river Erme, with rock pools by the river mouth. Dogs banned in summer at Mothecombe but allowed all year at Coastguards Beach.
